Sadie’s Rules K9 Training occasionally trains dogs who are looking for their forever home. Some of these dogs are available for adoption through specific rescues, and some are available for adoption through us. The dogs listed below are currently available for adoption. aDopting a trained dog
All of the dogs listed below are already fully trained. Sadie’s Rules is a professional dog training company specializing in family dogs—that means we teach dogs how to be well mannered family pets! We are e-collar trainers, so all dogs are trained using the e-collar and all adopters must be willing to maintain use of the e-collar long term. We will do lessons with each dog’s adopters to make sure they know how to utilize and maintain the dog’s training (no additional cost).
If you’re not familiar with us and our style of e-collar training for family dogs, please spend some time exploring this website and our social media pages. Instagram & Facebook - The content on these two platforms is the same. Our posts and videos explain various aspects of our training philosophy, process and results. But the best way to get to know us is to watch our daily stories for a week or two. Our daily stories (which disappear after 24 hours) give viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the training process.
YouTube - Our YouTube channel includes longer videos on many training topics, including unedited training sessions, client interviews and transformations, and tons of “how to’s”.

Below are the dogs we have available for adoption. Each dog has a button that links them to the appropriate application (not all dogs are adoptable through Sadie’s Rules—some are adoptable through other rescues).
Arlo
1.5 years old “super mutt”
Weighs about 55 lbs
Neutered, vaccinated, trained & healthy
Does well with dogs, cats and people of all sizes
Graduate of our e-collar training program (off-leash trained)
Crate trained & housebroken
Arlo loves other dogs and would be happiest in an active home with a doggie playmate.
Sweet Arlo could easily be a family dog! He loves to engage with his people and checks in often, even when he’s on an off-leash hike or playing with doggie friends.
He’s also good around the house and is able to relax calmly in his crate.
Overall, he’s a flexible, easy-going dog with an outgoing personality!
Tango
2.5 years old female German Shepherd mix
Weighs about 50 lbs
Spayed, vaccinated, trained & healthy
Graduate of our e-collar training program (off-leash trained)
Crate trained & housebroken
Loves other dogs, but no cats or small children
Tango is just the right amount of bouncy! She loves to play ball and is joyful and enthusiastic, but not so high energy that she’s demanding. She would be a great adventure buddy!
Tango also loves playing with other dogs and would enjoy a home with a doggie playmate.
She’s a dog who needs an active lifestyle, but she can also relax in her crate without issue when she’s not being active.
Tango is adoptable through Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue.
